We are Joanna Pearce and Marcus Hunter, and we have been working as a decorating team for nearly 20 years, and independently in the business prior to this. As experienced decorators we have a wealth of knowledge relating to products and their applications. We take great pride in our work, from assessing our clients’ needs to providing an exceptional service.
Having any trade in your home can be a stressful time. As co-workers we have developed a level of efficiency by dividing tasks and organising ourselves to ensure that there is minimum fuss and disruption for our clients. We work cleanly, precisely and quietly.
We also offer an independent colour consultation service for those who need assistance with their colour choices. This is available for both our decorating and non-decorating clients.

The Quote
It is important that you feel confident and at ease with whoever you invite to work for you. It is therefore essential that we personally assess potential work during an on-site visit. We will give you an honest assessment of the work expected of us and deliver a reliable and solid quote within 3 working days of the appointment, including rectification work and indication of any work that may not be able to be remedied by a decorator. We want our clients to be happy with our work, both in the short and the long term.
If you accept our quote, we will phone you to arrange a suitable date to commence work.
Our Ethos
Our main aim is to ensure that every project receives our full commitment no matter what the size. With years of experience in our trade we are happy to advise clients on the ever-growing paint market. This ensures that you will receive the best possible finish whilst working to your budget. We always allow for the correct preparation of surfaces before painting, apply a minimum of 2 coats to walls and ceilings, and an undercoat and 2 top coats to all woodwork. If any unforeseen problems or additional costs arise during the course of the work, these will be discussed with you immediately to enable them to be swiftly remedied.
