Colour choice and combination can have a huge impact on how comfortable you finally feel in a newly painted space. Our colour consultant can assist you in choosing a colour scheme which will not only reflect your personality and your style but will help make your space feel more like home.
We offer a virtual colour consultation via video call for clients anywhere in the UK and an in-home consultation for regional customers.
How the Consultation Works
Prior to your appointment we will ask you to let us have any images of the type of scheme you are hoping to achieve, if you have any. This is useful as it will indicate the direction in which we should proceed.
During the consultation we discuss important criteria with you which will impact the colour schemes, such as natural light and windows, colour and design of furniture in the room, the way the space will finally be used and, of course, your colour preferences.
If you have any other relevant visual aids we would like to see those as well. They could include upholstery samples, accessories and soft furnishings.

Within 1 week of your appointment you will receive an email detailing the colour, paint brand and finish that we recommend for each area. This will include clear instructions for painting each surface with the relevant product and colour choice.
What Else You Need to Know
The initial consultation is for 1 hour. A 1 hour consultation accommodates a maximum of 3 rooms, depending on the intricacy of the rooms and their relevant schemes. Further sessions can be booked in 30 minute slots, if required.
Colour Consultancy is available for decorating and non-decorating clients.
Some clients enjoy actively searching with us for their colour choices, others prefer to take a back seat and give the creative consultant a more free hand. Whichever path you choose, it remains our goal to find colours that are well-considered and will work for you and your home.
